Campbell is a renowned Canadian children’s book author known for her books Shi-shi-etko and Shin-chi’s Canoe. She is Interior Salish and Metis and grew up in British Columbia’s Nicola Valley. Many members of her family\, including her grandfather and mother attended residential schools. DESCRIPTION:Join us for a Pow Wow Dance class with David Whitebean! \n\n\n\nCelebrate Indigenous People’s History Month with us!  Join us for our next Pow Wow Dance Class with Wild Moccasin Dancers! This time we will be learning about Men’s Fancy Dance with David Whitebean. David Whitebean is Mohawk and Bajan\, and has been dancing for nearly 20 years.   \n\n\n\nDuring this class we will see some pieces of the regalia\, watch a dance demonstration\, and practice the basic steps of Men’s Fancy Dance. The steps will be broken down by low impact movements and we will gradually move into higher impact steps. Together we will discover our own unique flow through this pow wow dance style!
